Local and National Information
There are many available resources on the internet, in Alice Springs and and around the country that will inform your interest in Aboriginal history, culture, rights and causes. The following outlines just a few.

Local and National News Sources
National Indigenous Times
The National Indigenous Times is Australia's leading news media organisation for Indigenous affairs. With more than 1 million monthly readers of our Newspaper as well as our daily news website, we offer rigorous and fearless reporting on the issues that affect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association
(CAAMA) came to life in 1982 with the establishment of radio station 8KIN FM. Aboriginal-owned media was seen as being vital to the broad educational and community development aspirations of Aboriginal people in Central Australia. CAAMA’s social charter is to use the mediums of radio and television to give Aboriginal people a strong voice in the development of country, culture, politics and education; to use the broadcasting arts and sciences to arrest cultural disintegration, to empower people and bring inspiration to their lives.
Koori Mail
Established in May 1991, the Koori Mail is a fortnightly national newspaper reporting on the issues that matter to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We give Indigenous Australians a voice missing in the mainstream media. The Koori Mail is and has always been 100% Aboriginal owned.
